That was the phrase I spoke to my husband when I finished Allen Carr’s book. I think he went into shock when I said it because he knew I was a die-hard smoker and very frightened of stopping. The book turned that fear around, I’m still not quite sure how, the moves are subtle, but they are sure and they work. I have been smoke-free for almost 2 months and feel great. In fact yesterday, part of a stressful week, was the first day that I thought I wanted a cigarette since quitting, but then I reminded my self of a few phrases from Allen Carr that had resonated with me and the cravings faded.
If you do nothing else in your life to quit smoking, at least pick this book up. I costs a little more than 2 packs of smokes and you may be pleasantly surprised to find yourself, as I suddenly did, putting out your last cigarette.
