Truly an amazing book. It’s an easy read start to finish. I can’t explain how it works as well as it does, it just does. I smoked for 21 years, since age 14. Every pack or carton I ever bought I somehow hoped it would be my last. Every NYE or birthday would come and go, still hacking, coughing, wheezing and wasting money. It was always something I’d tackle when I was in the right frame of mind. This book will put you in the right frame of mind. Take your life back, live free! Breathe again. I wondered how much sleep would be enough to not wake up feeling completely exhausted. As a smoker you’re constantly exhausted because your body is working at a disadvantage. After 3 days being smoke free, 40 minute naps felt like hours of sleep. 8 hours of sleep felt completely perfect. I forgot what it was like to wake up feeling completely rested. Giving up cigarettes is like being reincarnated.
I read the book with an open mind. When you get to the part where you’ll be having your official last cigarette, it creates a panic. That’s what addiction does to you. Everyday gets easier and easier. I am so happy with my progress. (10 days clean) You must never get complacent, you must never “just have one cigarette”. You quit for life.
I’ve recommended this book to dozens of people, but I can’t make them read it. You have to want to read it. Take the power back, and be in control of your life and destiny again.
