I had gotten in this book about a month ago and got to read some of it but had so much going on in my life, I had to put it down for about two weeks till I could get back to it. I was committed to quitting. But, even while reading the first few pages of the book, I didn’t run to the cigarette like I normally did. Well, after about two weeks, I decided to quit smoking before reading the whole book. I had only read about 20 pages of it. (I was wanting to see how strong I was doing it cold turkey—) That was too soon and didn’t have all the knowledge of the book to be successful. I relaspe but only for a few hours. I sat down and read that book and made sure that I had read and understood (You have to have a open mind) to be successful in it. I can now say I’m a non-smoker. I have no cravings or withdrawals,…….(if I do, it’s real sudden and goes away) The book is a real eye opener. I can say this……I do not think about smokes or smoking (I do live with a smoker) I do not feel like I have to have anything in my hands. I know at this point that I’m free from them. I know in the book it states to be happy and say ‘Yippee! I’m free! Yes, I’ve very happy and yes I’m free-it has just open my eyes so much ….but,…. it has put me in a damper when I see my spouse and sister smoke now………(the book explains how pathetic it is when you see someone smoke)That is the only thing now……..that really bothers me while before…. it didn’t.
Ok, on January 5th I did not think that anything will force me to quit. I was willing to try again to, being a smoker for 9 years, smoking 1 1/2 packs a day, and having tried to quit four times before – unsuccessfully of course. On January 6th a friend of mine advised me [full article...]
I wrote this review in 2007 and now it is 2011 and I am still smoke free. I also gave it to my friend’s 70 year old mother who smoked like a fiend for 50 years. She had also tried to quit many times and she hasn’t touched a cigarette since she read this book [full article...]
I smoked for almost 10 years (really heavily the last couple of years – 2 packs a day) and had never really tried to seriously quit before. a colleague recommended it to me as it had worked for her. i thought, what do i have to lose? i bought it, read it, and became a [full article...]
Trust me, I know that as a smoker, it seems absolutely unbelievable. I was exactly the same way. Just do it, give it a shot. 359 out of 406 said FIVE STARS. That’s no accident. You’ll see some patterns in these reviews…believe what you’re reading. Do it now. Ten bucks for this book? That’s two [full article...]
